The Philippine Stock Index Fund (“PSIF”) was incorporated on December 11, 2002 as an open end investment company. The Fund was created as an index tracker fund of the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite Index (PSEi). To date, it is the only index tracker mutual fund that fully replicates the PSEi.
Investment Objective
The Fund aims to track the performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite Index (PSEi). The fund shall invest substantially all of the Fund’s assets in the stocks comprising the PSEi in the same weights as in the index.
